Pith Sanniya

It is the belief of the science of ayurveda that this illness arises out of the disturbance of the phlegm. The symptoms of this illness are boils and rashes appearing on the surface of the skin, burning sensations of the body, pain in the spine, twisting of the calf muscles, sleeplessness developing temperatures and muttering. In creating the mask the postures and expressions arising out of the illness are shown eg. burning sensation of the body, boils and rashes on the surface of the skin, as well as body hair, turning of the calf muscles, lack of concentration of mind, and lack of sleep.
