About Six Degrees North, Ambalangoda
Six Degrees North is a lovely new villa, right on the beach 10 minutes north of Hikkaduwa. Most of the villa is brand new, but the original home can still be seen in the very front. Built in 1924, it has been totally renovated, recycling as much as possible The shutters and doors are all original. Used the highest quality bed linen and the furniture is all locally handmade. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests use, however, our wonderful friendly staff are happy to cook for you. The villa faces the Indian Ocean, there is a large shady lawn with pool, and beach area inside the front fence. The wide veranda faces the ocean and is wonderfully relaxing and cool, perfect for afternoon tea or GT as well as meals.
